The BOG of Martha Cook Building are appointed by the President of the University of Michigan and in most cases are Martha Cook Alumnae. Each of the five governors service a three year term.
The BOG work in partnership with University Housing to:
- Preserve and maintain the unique traditions of Martha Cook.
- Review important changes that will impact the residents and staff.
- Provide input and guidance on issues related to the heritage of the building and the social experience of the Building’s residents.
- Collaborate on the planning and authorizing of capital improvements, including maintenance and renovation.
