Preparing For Move In

We look forward to welcoming you to Michigan Housing!  Each graduate area – Lawyers Club, Munger Graduate Residences, and Northwood Apartments – has a dedicated section below.

We recommend the use of a navigation app (like Waze,) a navigation app to assist you in navigating to Ann Arbor and around the campus.

LAWYERS CLUB GRADUATE RESIDENCES MOVING DAY TIPS

  • If you plan to ship items to your new address, plan for them to arrive after you move in so that you are present to receive them.

  • Check-in is at the Front Desk on the main floor at the State Street Entrance.

  • If you arrive after hours, remember to call the Department of Public Safety and Security at 734-763-1131 for access.

  • Curbside street parking is available at City of Ann Arbor parking meters along the front and the back of the building. The bagged meters are for your use.

  • Bring a photo ID and your Mcard, which you will use for access to the building. At the front desk, you will receive your room key, mailbox combination, and have access to a sanitized moving cart to assist with the process.

  • Obtain your Room Condition Inventory form at the front desk.  Return the completed form to the Front Desk within 48 hours of moving in.  Residents are responsible for the condition of the space upon move-out so this form is an important one to complete.

  • Visit the housing website for information about connecting your computer to Michigan Network.

MUNGER GRADUATE RESIDENCES MOVING DAY TIPS

  • If you plan to ship items to your new address, plan for them to arrive after you move in so that you are present to receive them.

  • Check-in is at the Community Center office on the 8th floor.

  • Community Center Hours

  • If you arrive after hours, remember to call the Department of Public Safety and Security at 734-763-1131 for access.

  • Curbside street parking is available at City of Ann Arbor parking meters along the front and the back of the building. The bagged meters are for your use.

  • Bring a photo ID to pick up your keys from the Community Center Office. If you have your Mcard, it will let you into the building.

  • At the community center, you will receive your room key, mailbox combination, and have access to a sanitized moving cart to assist with the process.

  • Check in is at the Community Center at 1000 McIntyre Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.

  • Community Center Hours

  • Bring a photo ID to pick up your keys from the Community Center Office.

  • At the community center, you will receive your room key and your mailbox key.
