Since Henderson House is cooperatively run, each woman contributes 4-6 hours of work per week including activities such as cooking, cleaning, ordering supplies, and attending House meetings. The House relies on teamwork, cooperation and dedication to run smoothly. In addition, individual responsibility and effective communication among residents are key factors in fostering a successful cooperative living environment. Completing work hours are important in order to support a fully functioning, clean, safe environment. Therefore, you are a vital part of creating an environment you and your fellow residents are proud of.
