HOUSE PROPERTY

One of the advantages of living in Henderson House is that you have several living spaces to enjoy besides your room. There is a TV room with cable TV, VCR and DVD player, a living room with a piano supplied with music, books, as well as a screened-in porch on the first level. There is also a laundry room, a computer room, a study room, and a personal refrigerator and freezer in the basement.

Cable is available in the TV room only and not in student rooms. However, the University provided Philo Internet Television service is worth exploring. Access is available on the Ann Arbor campus only, using a computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device connected to MWireless or wired Ethernet. Cable may not be installed in student rooms.

House equipment such as the DVD/VCR, industrial-sized vacuums (2) called Wall-E and Chastity, ironing board, blender, radio/CD player, and kitchen utensils are for use by residents and their guests only while in Henderson House. These and other such items must be kept in the House at all times. All members are expected to respect the furnishings throughout the House. This includes keeping the House neat and picking up after yourself.
