Northwood III is a community of eight buildings that provide homes to roughly 547 mix-gender undergraduates. There are one and two bedroom apartments in Northwood III, and each unit has a shared bathroom, a kitchen and an area for studying or dining. Northwood III is on North Campus, across from the North Campus Recreational Building and near Pierpont Commons, the College of Engineering, The School of Music, Theater and Dance, and many other academic units. Students can easily get to Central Campus by catching a free U-M bus.
At Northwood III you’ll have a community of Residential Staff who are trained and ready to help you succeed in your new home. Your Resident Advisor will be there to help build community, lead activities and answer questions. Learn more about Residential Staff and services.
Each residence hall has a student governing system including a Hall Council, a Multicultural Council, and representatives on the Residence Hall Association. Talk to your RA if you are interested in participating.
