Mail & Package Delivery

Resident mailboxes are operated according to guidelines provided by the U.S. Postal Service. Addressed mail and small packages sent through the Postal Service are placed in resident mailboxes.

For residents living in residence halls, items that are too large for the mailboxes are kept in the Community Center package room and a package notification is placed in the resident’s mailbox or sent via email. To claim the package, residents should bring the package notification and their U-M ID to the Community Center during regular business hours.

For Northwood III residents, packages will be delivered to the parcel boxes located under their regular mailbox. For Northwood I, II, IV and V residents, packages will be delivered to the residents' front door. Any packages containing valuables can be shipped to the Community Center at 2150 Cram Place if absolutely necessary. To claim these packages, residents should bring their package notification and U-M ID to the Community Center during regular business hours
