Faith & Spirituality

University Housing is committed to creating an environment that accepts and appreciates diverse cultures from around the world. We welcome and affirm students of all faiths and belief systems, and we work in partnership with others to support residents.

In our dining halls, halal options are offered on a regular basis — look for the H symbol on the menu. Housing also partners with the Hillel foundation to offer students a Kosher meal plan.

The Serenity Room in The Connector also provides a space dedicated to upholding diverse faith and belief systems. Another resource available to residents, though not affiliated with Housing or the University of Michigan, is the Association of Religious Counselors (ARC). ARC is a voluntary association of persons who are advisors, staff, and leaders of religious organizations and congregations of campus ministries. To learn more about the organization and the spiritual resources it offers, please visit ARC's list of spiritual resources for students.

University Housing is a unit of Student Life, and an equal opportunity educator and employer.
