Residence Education Student Staff Selection for University Housing

Residence Education for University Housing employs over 400 individuals in roles as diverse as Community Center Assistant, Diversity Peer Educator, Munger Transdisciplinary Fellow, Graduate Diversity Coordinator, Traditional Resident Advisor, Graduate Resident Advisor, Theme Resident Advisor, and Michigan Learning Community Resident Advisor. Our communities range from traditional residence halls to Graduate and Undergraduate apartments.

2019-2020 Undergraduate ResStaff Selection Process
Traditional Resident Advisor (Traditional RA), Theme Resident Advisor (Theme RA), Michigan Learning Community Resident Advisor (MLC RA), and Diversity Peer Educator (DPE) positions only.

The application is available October 11 thru 28, 2018 for Undergraduate ResStaff positions and is due October 28, 2018 at 11:59 PM.  The system will not allow any submissions after the deadline of 11:59 PM (even if you are already in the process).   • Wednesday, October 17, 2018, 6 PM - 8 PM - Stockwell Hall, Grand Lounge

  • Thursday, October 18, 2018, 6 PM - 8 PM - Bursley Hall, Main Lobby

  • Tuesday, October 23, 2018, 6 PM - 8 PM - West Quad, Asubuhi Lounge

Attendance is not mandatory.


  • November 5 thru 16, 2018 - by invitation only

If you applied for an MLC RA and/or DPE position, you may be invited to a second interview in order to be considered for those positions. The Traditional RA and Theme RA position does not require a second interview.
