- Information for University of Michigan Departments
If your department is planning to bring a number of visitors
to campus over the next year, you may find it economical to lease one
or more of these fully furnished units for the entire year as an alternative
to costly hotels. Your visitors, in turn, will enjoy the convenience
of our on-campus location, access to the University bus system, and
the extra space and amenities of a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment.
- We regularly receive requests for such housing from visiting scholars
and researchers who will be in town for extended periods of time—typically
too long to stay in a hotel, but too short to rent an apartment. Many
of these individuals are international visitors who do not have cars.
For this situation, as well as other similar transitional housing requirements,
Northwood meets the need with short-term, convenient, affordable accommodations.
