unit of the University and is expected to generate all of its own
revenue for both operational and capital improvement expenditures.
It receives no General Fund or State of Michigan allocations. As
noted in its Mission Statement, University Housing makes every effort
to operate its facilities in as cost-effective manner as possible
and works very hard to keep any annual rate increase to the lowest
possible amount so that family housing at Michigan remains accessible
to its residents.
