Living in Northwood Community ApartmentsThe University of Michigan offers apartments to single graduate students and students with families as part of one of the largest and most comprehensive campus-operated apartment programs in the country. These students, most enrolled in graduate and professional degree programs in all of Michigan's 19 schools and colleges, enjoy the benefits of living in a diverse community with residents from over 80 countries. The community also offers a high quality on-site child care program and one of the best English language instruction programs of any college or university in the United States.

Northwood Community Apartments consists of 1089 apartments in Northwood I, II, IV and V, located on North Campus. Units include apartments ranging from efficiencies to 3 bedroom units. Utilities and DSL are included in the monthly rent, except for long distance telephone charges and cable charges.

Our community is dynamic, diverse and energetic. Many activities take place in the community including programs for residents, Family Health Services, English as a Second Language programs and the vital Child Development Center.
