Recycling Efforts
  • 1,395 cubic yards of cardboard
  • 652 large bags of polystyrene foam block
  • 54 large bags of foam pellets

That's a lot of reusable material that didn't go into a landfill.

Cleaning Up and Recycling

Please do your part during Move-In and year round by using the specially designed containers for recyclables such as newspapers, magazines, cans, and plastic bottles. University Housing provides each apartment with a recycling container. Recycling bins are located in each Northwood parking lot. Please note that at this time glass recycling is not available in the city of Ann Arbor due to lack of demand.
